While living and traveling in the Mid-East, I kept eyes open for 'gifts' for family or for hand-me-downs to my children. Trays of all sorts of design were popular, they were versative as decor or functioning as actual TRAYS!  To hold and carry things.
 
I do not recall where I bought this one. Probably from a vendor in Teheran during a visit in 1960.
 
This pie-crust edged tray measuring 27.5” dia., and is embellished with stamped designs in a circular pattern. Made perhaps early 20th Century. No dents.
