Rhinestone Jewelry – 1930s to 1950s
My mother bought or was gifted by friends these pieces, most of which I remember her wearing as I was growing up.
A) Rhinestone clip earrings w/ baguette and round stones mounted on silver-colored metal of two facing, curved shapes. 1 inch long, ½ inch across.
B) Rhinestone clasp broach w/ baguette and various sized round stones mounted in a complex sort of tear-drop shape on silver metal. 2 ¾ inches high; 1 ½ inches wide.
C) Rhinestone round pin w/ round rhinestones in various sizes arranged in concentric circles mounted on silver-colored metal. 2 inches.
D) Rhinestone hairclip w/ baguette and small round rhinestones. 1 inch by ¾ inches.
E) Crystal and drop pearl stones strung on gold metal oval link chains arranged in a bib-like design. 17 inches long w/ ‘bib’ 2 ¾ inches.
F) Rhinestone necklace w/ oval and round stones mounted in silver-colored metal as links. 14 ½ inches.
