Of course, as a mid-west housewife,  I thought these 'pads' were to use to protect wood finishes on table or counter from the heat of a cook pot. I did not learn util many years later that these are sushi roll mats. No matter. Stunning and versatile.
 
I pass them on for this modest price to others who admire craftsmanship from the past.
